Hyundai continues to show the auto industry the way forward with safety features for drivers in Sacramento and beyond. We’re proud to say that 2023 Hyundai models have earned the distinction of being the highest-rated mass-market vehicles for four consecutive years as noted in the 2023 U.S. Tech Experience Index (TXI) StudySM.

What does this mean for Rancho Cordova drivers? J.D. Power’s study and survey listed Hyundai as the most advanced automotive brand for the 2023 model year for safety features. Find out more details below!

2023 Hyundai Palisade & Emerging Automation

Two 2023 Hyundai vehicles were recognized for their safety features. J.D. Power said the Hyundai Palisade earned the emerging automation award due to its reverse automatic emergency braking system. If you want a Palisade, look for the Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA) to help with El Dorado Hills journeys.

RCCA comes standard on this new SUV and it helps avoid collisions toward the rear of the vehicle by warning the driver to hit the brakes. If, after a certain period of time, the driver still hasn’t hit the brakes, the RCCA can apply emergency braking to prevent an accident as part of the Hyundai SmartSense package. When you invest in a vehicle with SmartSense, you get a suite of safety features that elevate every drive in Folsom and beyond.

2023 Hyundai Sonata & Digital Key

The annual J.D. Power study also highlighted the 2023 Hyundai Sonata’s infotainment and connectivity thanks to Sonata’s Digital Key technology that connects to drivers’ smartphones. You don’t have to worry about losing your physical keys because your phone takes care of unlocking your Hyundai Sonata as an option. It can keep you and your family safer, especially since you don’t have to fumble around for keys when your hands are full.

Digital Key technology takes advantage of Near-Field Communication (NFC) in your smartphone, which is more advanced and more secure than Bluetooth connectivity. It’s also safer in that only your exact smartphone can unlock the door of your Hyundai Sonata.

What Is J.D. Power’s U.S. Tech Experience Index Study?

J.D. Power evaluates all of the advanced technologies in new vehicles for every model year based on a 1,000-point scale. It examines 40 technologies among four categories: Convenience, Emerging Automation, Energy & Sustainability, and Infotainment & Connectivity.

The 2023 U.S. Tech Experience Index (TXI) Study compiled the responses of 82,472 owners of new 2023 model-year vehicles. The respondents were surveyed after the 90-day point of ownership in February through May 2023, and then J.D. Power analyzed the results.
